Working with Mark was always a pleasure. He is eager to learn and always strives to be the best at what he is doing. Most recently I had worked with him on a page load optimization project where he quickly learned what we needed to do with images, css, and js to increase performance – and he ran with it. We were able to turn around significant results in a short period of time due to marks attention to detail and commitment to doing the best.

Mark is earnest, with a “get it done” work ethic. He is a great addition to any team. Mark would often take on tasks and components he was not assigned to in order to both hone skills as well as help out team mates. His general approachable and friendly personality allows him to integrate into the team and is a source of positive morale in the development “pit”. He comes from a creative background so he is able to speak with and collaborate with non technical team members like design and ux. He really takes to heart values of ownership and accountability. There is no simple task beneath him or complex issue he is not eager to tackle.

Mark is among the hardest working members of our team and it’s been a pleasure working with him during my tenure at Sony. He’s hungry to learn, picks things up quickly, and displays a genuine interest in web development. While I was overhauling our shopping cart’s front end, Mark would volunteer his spare time to help me—even staying after hours to complete tasks not assigned to him.
